On April 2, 2020 Huawei announced start on the smartphones in Russia of the Pay Purse service developed by the St. Petersburg company CardsMobile.  Originally function of contactless payment will be available to users of the flagman devices Huawei P40, and further — and on other models of the Chinese producer.

Owners of smartphones of Huawei company will be able to load into the application of the MasterCard 40 card of partner banks, such as VTB, Alfa-Bank, Raiffeisenbank, "Tinkoff", Opening and others, for payment of purchases everywhere where proximity cards are accepted. Payment is implemented using NFC technology.

Users will also be able to transfer discount cards of shops to Purse or to issue new cards directly in the application in a mobile format. Receive discounts, having shown at the checkout the card from the smartphone screen, it is possible in the largest retail chain stores of the country – partners of Pay Purse service: X5 Retail Group, M.Video, "OK", Adidas, kari, Vkusvill, Metro Cash & Carry, Lamoda, United Colors of Benetton and other.

As of the beginning of April, 2020 the Purse application  has 12 million Russian buyers who already transferred more than 190 million cards to the application.

Service of contactless payment Purse of Pay works based on own platform of the tokenization certified according to standards of security of international payment systems.
