2020: End of the first stage of upgrade of network of corporate telephone communication
On April 6, 2020 it became known that in Rosselkhozbank with assistance of AMT Group system integrator the first stage of upgrade of network of corporate telephone communication was completed. The modern and multifunction telephone infrastructure of high availability providing a uniform set of services for all staff of RSHB is constructed. More than 20,000 employees of the bank will be transferred to the updated telephone network.
According to the company, the uniform infrastructure created within the project will allow Bank to centralize management, administration and monitoring of SKT; use a unified plan of numbering of subscribers, uniform services of telephony and an accounting system; increase fault tolerance and provide the necessary level of information security. The scalability of the solution will give the chance to considerably reduce terms of deployment of sections of network and the provided services. Employees of the bank will receive an identical set of services for all jobs, irrespective of their territorial placement.
The solution Cisco Systems on which the telephone network of head office is built was taken as a basis of architecture of network. A core of the solution is the system of unified communications based on Cisco Unified Communications Manager in computing environment Cisco UCS/VMware. Such core will provide with services of telephone communication of subscribers of the geographical distributed platforms of Bank and to serve as a technology platform for further replication of a telephone network in offices and branches.
Within the project the additional services offered by technology partners of Cisco were also implemented. In particular, the system of the managed conferences and conference calls of IP Forum of own development of AMT Group. This solution did not demand installation of the collateral special hardware (gateways, servers, media cards, etc.), functioning as virtual machines on servers of general purpose.
End of the first stage of the project allowed to achieve such goals as reduction of total cost of ownership of SKT in scales of Bank, increase in effective management of operating costs of service and administration of SKT. Operational risks due to replacement of an obsolete equipment are considerably reduced; level of corporate security of network grew. The base for further development with preserving of investments into the existing network is built.
Thanks to integration of all used means of communication the efficiency of business processes increased, command and individual productivity of employees of the bank increased.
The total quantity of the subscribers who are subject to migration will make about 20,000. For April, 2020 more than a half of subscribers of a corporate telephone network of bank already use services of the upgraded network.
Upgrade of a telephone network of bank of national scale already within this stage yeilds tangible result regarding optimization of its maintenance, in particular, for example, due to the choice of the uniform solution manufacturer for creation of a core of network. At the same time on the next stage of upgrade we also expect significant economy of operating costs of migration of other subscribers thanks to working off of the standard solution for the corresponding territorial educations.
