2021: Adding an Automated Utility Control System

In Snezhinsk (), Chelyabinsk region the system of automated control over the operation of communal equipment began to function. This is another module of the platform "," Smart City which city administration the JSC (RuSat Infrastructure Solutions division of the State Corporation "") Rosatom deployed in 2020. Rosatom announced this on December 24, 2021. Thanks to this system, the mayor's office will be able to monitor the operation of communal equipment, the quality of cleaning and, if necessary, quickly transfer the equipment to more popular sites.

As part of the project, all communal equipment is equipped with navigation sensors. GLONASS Monitoring and quality control of cleaning is carried out by the road service manager. He sees where the machines work, and also receives a report on the work done. The automatic system is able to analyze weather conditions and signals social networks in and correct the harvest schedule. Brought to the information map of the "Smart City."

At the same time, the city is preparing infrastructure for video surveillance (as part of the Safe City agro-industrial complex in accordance with the methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Construction). For this, in December 2021, the Video Surveillance module with the Facial Recognition feature and the necessary server equipment for establishing city cameras are deployed. A comprehensive public security and online monitoring system will be established, including the organization of permanent video surveillance using a video analytics system . According to the plans of the city authorities, the priority place for equipping video surveillance will be the public territory of the city leisure park of Snezhinsk.

Adding services to the system "Smart City of Rosatom"

The "smart city of Rosatom" in the Chelyabinsk region was supplemented with services. This was announced on December 21, 2020 by RIR (Rusatom Infrastructure Solutions).

Services are intended for official use - digitalization will help administration employees get rid of the paper routine, give access to current data and analytics, and simplify urban management processes. In the end, residents will benefit from this, whose problems will be solved faster and better. Access to all services of the Smart Snezhinsk digital platform is provided through the snz.rosatom.city.

Smart City services are an important tool that allows you to ensure an operational response to people's requests, involve residents in the development of the urban environment, increase the efficiency of city management and energy efficiency in such a way that citizens are comfortable living, working and relaxing. In July 2020, the city of Snezhinsk received the basic version of Rosatom's Smart City digital platform, which includes six basic modules. During the operation of the system, it became clear that the basic version of the platform is not enough. And since the system can develop taking into account the needs of the administration and the needs of residents in the city in December 2020, eight more modules were introduced, "said the head of the city, Igor Saprykin.

Added smart services in Snezhinsk:

  • Information panel of the head of the city. Collects and outputs in real time analytical information about how the urban economy works, allows you to control the solution of problems declared by residents: abandoned cars, uncleared garbage, illegal construction, lighting, pits on the roads and others.
  • Telephones. It is used to place information from telephones related to repair works, tests and other events; is required to synchronize municipal services.
  • Service areas for management companies. Provides information related to housing and communal services areas.
  • Garbage and municipal solid waste. Displays all garbage collection points on the city map and provides the administration with detailed information on them.
  • Earthworks. It allows you to post plans of city authorities on urban planning issues, improvement priorities, important city projects and other issues affecting the interests of citizens.
  • GIS HOUSING AND COMMUNAL SERVICES. Provides information on apartment buildings and tenants living in them: data on buildings, owners, permanently or temporarily registered residents, etc.
  • Activities of the municipal property management committee. Gives information on the location, lease terms and other parameters of the municipal property leased.
  • PG and emergency warning system. Provides information on PG and emergency alert points.

Employees of the municipality who will use these services in work have undergone special training.

All services are integrated with the Smart City digital platform, the development of RIR, the industrial operation of which began in Snezhinsk in October 2020. Prior to this, the platform was tested for several months and has proven itself as a useful tool for improving efficiency in urban management and developing feedback with residents. The basic functionality of the system includes six services, of which the "Message of Residents" became the most popular: through the site or mobile application, citizens can report problems, and then track the status of their application. Other services provide access to information about the work of city services, deputy districts, educational and cultural institutions, police stations. The Situation Center allows the administration to monitor how utilities perform their tasks.

Plans for the implementation of the complex "Smart City of Rosatom"
