Edgecam represents the solution in the field of creation of managing programs of processing for CNC machines ([[|SAM]] - a system).
Edgecam is intended for preparation of managing programs for different types of CNC machines of milling, turning and turning and milling groups.
About the program
Edgecam is the tool for production process solving of tasks – beginning from receiving computer model of a part up to creation of the managing program and transfer on CNC devices.
Edgecam allows to model all processing on the screen:
- create the installation scheme of fixture of procurement and the tool;
- browse a trajectory of the movement of the tool with control of movements idling and possible collisions with the fixing equipment;
- make sections of the processed procurement for detailing of difficult places and visualization of quality of processing;
- carry out comparison design and technology models and analyze existence having killed also nedoobrabotanny zones.
The program has a unified graphical environment for design of parts and modeling of technology of processing on CNC machines.
Possibilities of frame, superficial and solid modeling are provided.
Modules of the program allow to perform:
- prismatic and surface milling treatment,
- difficult turning on several axes,
- simple milling or turning,
- rotational and multiposition milling processing,
- processing of the whole groups of parts and component parts.
Edgecam generates the code unitary enterprise. Using the Edgecam tools it is possible to develop processing strategies which optimize trajectories of operation of the tool.
