Russian Industrial Company (RIC) Ltd is the company which is engaged in automation of design and technology works, distribution, development and system integration program and the hardware for the solution of different problems of mechanical engineering, industrial and civil engineering, GIS, geodesy, cartography, land management, etc.

Company Info

The company was founded in 1989 as scientific and production firm by graduates of MSTU of Bauman. In 1991 the Russian Industrial Company received the status of the dealer, and in 1996 the distributor of Autodesk – the producer of programs, famous in the world market, for such areas as production, infrastructure, construction and also television and entertainments. In 1999 the Russian Industrial Company opened the first representation in the region of Russia.

The Russian Industrial Company is software developer. From own developments today the most known is the program for design of the systems of power electric equipment and an electric lighting for the Russian techniques – WinELSO.

RPK is a partner of such largest developers as: Autodesk, Inc., Flow Science, Inc., MSC.Software, Planit Holdings Plc., FCC Software Ltd., Intermech, Lotsia Soft, APM Center, SCAD Soft, SPI Wood, GTX, KIP, Colortrac, Hewlett Packard, etc.

RPK is the only thing[1] in the territory of Russia, the CIS and the Baltic States the authorized distributor and the service center of the equipment of Colortrac company – producer of color and black-and-white large-format scanners, the sole distributor of a system for development of managing programs for Edgecam CNC machines.

History of the company

1989 is Foundation of the Russian Industrial Company. Russian Industrial Company Ltd is the research and production organization. Collective basis - graduates of MSTU of Bauman. Work in the field of computer technologies, development of own settlement systems for a CAD of foundry processes, processings of metals pressure, design of compression molds.

1991 - The Russian Industrial Company receives the status of the Dealer of Autodesk and the authorized application developer in the field of mechanical engineering. Expansion of activity in the field of architecture, constructions and GIS.

1993 - The company becomes the Specialized Dealer of Autodesk. The beginning of work with applications from world developers of the CAD systems: Rebis IWS (now Bentley Systems), GTX and Vibrant Graphics Inc.

1996 - The company received the status of the Distributor of Autodesk. Status of the Distributor of MSC Software, Flow Science, Pathtrace, MechSoft, GTX, reseller of the leading Russian CAD vendors (APM, Intermech Center), dealer of Hewlett Packard, iiyama, etc.

1997 - Formation of wide dealer network in the territory of Russia, the CIS and the Baltic States.

1999 - Opening of representations in regions and the authorized training center – CAD and GIS Academies (RPK - Science and education). Cooperation with the leading Higher education institutions: Lomonosov Moscow State University, MSTU of Bauman, Sheffield university (Great Britain), Nizhny Novgorod state technical university, Saratov State University, etc.

2000 - The company opens the CAD annual scientific and practical conference and the GIS EXPO on which gather as real users of a modern CAD and GIS, and the leading specialists having long-term experience of implementation of such systems. Increasing quality of the provided services, the company creates training center - the CAD and GIS Academy designed to render services in professional training of specialists in the field of a CAD and GIS.

2001, 2002, 2003 - the website of www.cad.ru Company is a winner of the Elite of a CAD nomination as "The best Russian-speaking website devoted to a CAD" (the nomination is founded by the SAPR I Grafika magazine and after 2003 it was not awarded).

2003 - The status of the Direct Authorized System Center Autodesk, the Distributor of Colortrac.

2004 - On survey results of visitors of SAPR-EKSPO on Softool the Russian Industrial Company is recognized by the Company of year.

2005 - Following the mission, the company continues to promote reaching of the Russian enterprises qualitatively new level of development. Hundreds of engineers, designers and designers attended the traditional monthly educational seminars designed to improve skills and to give new knowledge in the field of modern automated design engineering systems.

2006 - The company receives the status of the Authorized Reseller of Autodesk company (Autorized Value Added Reseller) on all product line.

2007 - The company performs technical support of the 3D Center of Innovations at MSTU of Bauman.

2008 - The company successfully functions in the market of 20 years.

The number of clients of the company exceeded 20,000 people.

The number of graduates of training center of the company – CAD and GIS Academies - exceeded 5000 specialists.
