History of the company
The Colortrac company appeared in 1989 in England. The company was created for design and release of new digital large-format scanners for geology of new fields of oil prospecting.
In 1999, exactly in 10 years the Colortrac company purchased the American company ANAtech and Tangent Imaging Systems. Success did not keep itself waiting long, first-class, protected by patents, the technology of large-format scanning, was developed since the beginning of the 1980th years.
The acquisitions made by the company considerably strengthened possibilities of Colortrac as regards a 2D regulated threshold of scanning of monochrome images and technology of color calibration with a feedback for process "scanning - copying and scanning - printing". In September, 2004, the Colortrac company began to supply to the world market the large-format scanner of the SmartLF 4080 brand which success led the company into the lead in the market of the inexpensive scanners using CIS technology.
In December, 2005 Colortrac announced expansion in connection with opening of new subsidiary company, Colortrac Imaging Systems (Suzhou). - Smart LF - The software of SmartLF is intended for simplification of work with the scanner of a large number of users and the organization of processes of scanning and copying of documents using standard feature set of Windows. Thanks to the simplest interface allows to work with the scanner to normal users not to scanning specialists. The software of SmartLF is not optional and is delivered in a set with the scanner. Copying is performed on any printer which is in a system using its standard driver.

Process of scanning thanks to approval of devices occupies a smaller amount of time as the document output to printing begins with the advent of the first data with the scanning device.
