In Step agroholding the implementation project of solutions of SAS started

2020: Implementation of an intelligent analytical system

On April 15, 2020 it became known that the management of Step agroholding made the decision on implementation of an intelligent analytical system based on the SAS Viya platform, the tool of a research of data and optimization. The created system will allow to define ways of reduction of losses and to use internal reserves of agroholding for increase in revenue, decrease in operating costs and increase in overall effectiveness of workflows. Project completion and leading of the first results is planned for fall of 2020.

For improvement of the main business indicators based on analytics solving of tasks of crop department, connected with production planning of agricultural products, such as will be adjusted: optimization of the structure of sown areas, long-term planning of the equipment, long-term planning of purchases of the equipment and also operational planning of agricultural works with rational resource allocation on time and sections of fields.

During the project the team of analysts of SAS will carry out deployment of the analytical platform, jointly with specialists of Steppe will adjust processes of collecting and data storage for problems of analytics and planning, will develop models of the analysis and optimization and will configure the visual interactive reporting for acceptance of management decisions.
