DivvyCloud — the American company founded in 2013 developing the platform for automation and protection of cloud and container infrastructure. This solution helps the companies to be saved from the wrong setup of systems, violation of security policies, cyberthreats and problems at management identification and access. The platform supports cloud environments Amazon Web Services Microsoft Azure Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud and also containers Kubernetes.

History

2020: Rapid7 purchased DivvyCloud for $145 million

At the end of April, 2020 cybersecurity company Rapid7 announced acquisition of DivvyCloud for $145 million. The buyer intends to pay the transaction by means of own actions and money.

Before DivvyCloud sale the company attracted in total $28.9 million investments, including from Leonid Boguslavsky's fund RTP Ventures. How many this fund enclosed in a startup, is not specified.

In Rapid7 say that the products DivvyCloud combine deep visibility and mechanisms of automatic prevention and elimination of cyberrisks in real time.

It is going to close the transaction on sale of DivvyCloud of Rapid7 company in the second quarter 2020. Previously its participants need to get approvals from regulators.[1]
