Nasdaq implements a blockchain for digital asset management

On April 29, 2020 Nasdaq signed the long-term agreement about cooperation with R3 company. Within this cooperation the R3 will provide to division of Nasdaq Market Technology the software of Corda Enterprise for digital asset management and also will give professional services and support.

Corda Enterprise is the software working based on blockchain technology which allows financial institutions to communicate safely with each other. With its help Nasdaq is going to create the platform for digital asset management for all their lifecycle.

Corda Enterprise offers the ciphered, scalable environment with short delay. It does it suitable for situations in which the most strict requirements are imposed to reliability and availability. Cooperation with R3 will allow Nasdaq to make more transparent the principles of work of the exchanges of digital assets which will be able to meet expectations of partners in the capital markets in process of development of their business, contains in the message of R3.
