2020: "Elbrus 842/18-01" and "Elbrus 842/6-01"
On May 7, 2020 the PJSC INEUM named after I. Brook company provided two servers based on microprocessors Elbrus-8C. The first server is intended for the high-loaded projects, the second is optimized for applications. Both are equipped with four processors and support up to 256 GB of RAM with a possibility of error correction.
According to the company, these solutions are logical continuation of two - and four-processor servers of own development of "INEUM named after I. Brook" for the solution of a broad spectrum of tasks.
The server databases in body 2U for the projects requiring high performance "Elbrus 842/18-01" is a four-processor server with support to 256 GB of RAM and a fast disk subsystem of input-output (to equipment rooms RAID- the controller). The disk subsystem supports installation to 18 disks of 2.5 inches SAS/SATA in front with hot swap and two compartments 2.5 inches of SATA in the body.
This server is tested with the following database management systems which are completely postponed for the Elbrus platform: PostgreSQL, Postgres Pro, MySQL.
The application server in body 2U for a wide range of tasks "Elbrus 842/6-01" - the four-processor server with support to 256 GB of RAM. The disk subsystem also provides installation to 6 disks 3.5 SAS/SATA inches in front with hot swap. The server is the universal solution with support of open source software.
Functioning of these products is possible on the Russian operating systems which are completely postponed for the Elbrus platform and entering the Unified register of the Russian programs for electronic computers and databases: Elbrus Linux, the Viola, Astra Linux Leningrad, the Lotus, ROSA, the protected real-time operating system of "Neytrino-E", thus, is provided the good level of localization and import substitution during the work with information that guarantees good degree of information security.
The Elbrus-8C microprocessor is the high-performance microprocessor, entering the Register of Minpromtorg, meeting requirements of Government decree No. 719 of July 17, 2015 "About confirmation of production of industrial output in the territory of the Russian Federation".
Solutions based on microprocessors well proved Elbrus-8C in the Russian market, these servers are a model of full import substitution without loss of functionality. |
