Biography

1991-1992: Minister for Fuel and Energy of Russia

Vladimir Lopukhin held a post  of the Minister for Fuel and Energy in  the first Russian government     from November 10, 1991 to May 30, 1992. Was the adviser of the Government of the Russian Federation concerning the international economic cooperation and fuel and energy complex, the non-staff adviser to the Acting prime minister Egor Gaidar. 

From  this duty he was released by Victor Chernomyrdin. During operating time as the Minister for Fuel and Energy of the RSFSR/the Russian Federation Lopukhin managed to develop the concept of reforming of fuel and energy complex and to appoint the chairman of fund of assistance of the fuel and energy industry with the deputy minister's rights to very few people then famous Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

1992-1996

In 1992-1996 worked as the senior adviser in Lazare bank who advised the Russian government since Brezhnev's times  and became the partner of the Moscow division.

2007-2015

The death of the former minister  was also confirmed  to Radio of Svoboda by one of  Lopukhin's relatives. The relative Vladimira Lopukhina Vera Bogatykh on the Facebook page  wrote that he was hospitalized in  one of  the Moscow hospitals, put in  resuscitation, but  in several days wrote out  in spite of the fact that its status only worsened.  On May 21 he  was hospitalized already in  other hospital.^[1]
