PeterStar offers software of Microsoft in lease

The PeterStar company working at the market of telecommunication services in North-West Region, entering into Synterra Group, and Microsoft corporation started the joint program under the name "Software as Service". Within this program PeterStar will give an opportunity to use solutions of Microsoft under lease.

This joint initiative of Microsoft and PeterStar became continuation of the partnership agreement of Microsoft corporation and Synterra Group implemented for the purpose of development of services in lease of applications within the Software as Service program.

According to Evgeny Vasilyev, the CEO of PeterStar, uniqueness of strategy PiterSoft is that the company aims to provide the clients with a full range of infocommunication services. Therefore as a part of packaged solutions of the company in addition to telecommunication services software products of the corporate level appear. Their use will allow to solve a problem with the licensed software, especially in the small and medium regional companies due to obvious advantage of the offered scheme of lease of business applications for this segment.

The possibility of use in SMB companies of North-West Region all opportunities of license solutions of Microsoft for a monthly subscription fee belongs to advantages of this model. It will allow to avoid purchase costs of the equipment, the necessary software, implementation of IT solution and its maintenance. It became possible thanks to the concept of Microsoft Software + Services (S+S).

Within the program the following business applications are offered:

• corporate e-mail (mail, the calendar, tasks, contacts, voice messages, joint work) based on Microsoft Exchange Server;

• the solution for corporate communications (corporate telephony, including audio-and video calls, audio-and video conferences, instant messaging) based on Microsoft Office Communications Server;

• the solution on customer relationship management giving to users full access to all control functions by marketing, sales and service of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system;

• a corporate portal for joint work with documents based on Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services.

The first stage of the program started in St. Petersburg. Users are given an opportunity free of charge to test demonstration versions of Microsoft applications during the period from 30 to 60 days.
