2020: Start of tests of an intellectual information and analytical system for "digital" crop production
The Ruselectronics holding of State Corporation Rostec started tests of the first domestic intellectual information and analytical system for "digital" crop production. On June 2, 2020 Rostec reported about it. Development is capable to create cards tasks for agricultural machinery, to plan sowing works and also to make recommendations about rational use of fertilizers. Farmers will be able to obtain necessary information using special mobile application.
A system allows the agroenterprises and farmers to pass to the differentiated application of fertilizers and means of protecting of plants, proceeding from the need for a certain substance on specific section of a field. On the basis of data of chemical analysis of the soil and process charts of the cultivated cultures a system makes "digital map" of farmlands. Creates recommendations about optimal planting of crops, quantity and type of fertilizers and means of protecting of plants taking into account a soil status. Builds cards tasks for "smart" agricultural machinery - seeders, sprayers, spreaders.
Cards tasks are transferred on the module of control of agricultural machinery on wireless networks or by means of the flash-drive. Agroproducers get access to personal account through the web interface and mobile application where the field magazines and recommendations created by a system are displayed. Users can also receive on the mobile phone of the notification on need of carrying out these or those works. The solution can be integrated with domestic developments in the field of robotization and control automation by agricultural machinery.
Agriculture – branch of the economy in which implementation of digital technologies significantly increases efficiency. At the same time for obtaining the maximum effect it is important to implement not separate elements, but complete solutions for process automation in agro-industrial complex. The provided system will allow to cut down expenses on seeds and fertilizers, on 20% for 25% to lower time of single pass of the equipment, to increase collecting of products by 15-30%. Approbation of a system will take place on pilot fields of the Smolensk and Tver regions", - noted the chief executive of Rostec Oleg Yevtushenko.
