2020: Creation of the company

On June 2, 2020 Globaltruck company, one of the largest players in the Russian market of automobile cargo FTL transportations (Full Truck Load, delivery with a full load of tracks), announced creation of child software developer.

The new company with the authorized capital of 500 thousand rubles received the name "Globaltrak Information Technologies". Development of the computer software will be its primary activity. What products will be developed by IT - "subsidiary" of hauler, by the beginning of June, 2020 is not reported.

The co-founder and the largest co-owner of Globaltruck Alexander Yeliseyev says that the company tries to transfer some internal processes (communication with customers and contractors) to online. Therefore creation of own IT company can be connected with these tasks especially as, according to Yeliseyev, there are not so many companies whose technologies can be used in logistics.

Something at us turns out, but I would refrain from application of such terms as, for example, "the digital forwarding agent". Today this certain haypovy phrase behind which the market usually understands the startup created, as a rule, by people not from logistic business, and from the world of IT. For successful examples of startups which came from the outside commands not logistic and more of the IT field, it is necessary to look still. The speech not only about Russia, but also about Europe — he said in an interview to Interfax.

Alexander Yeliseyev considers that IT startups do not go to logistics as it is very fragmented market at which a large number of small players work. It is simple to create and advance the platform, numerous nuances begin further: work of warehouses, operation modes of warehouses, customer requirements on fixture, etc., he noted.^[1]
