At the beginning of June, 2020 the agrarian holding "Ekoniva" announced the beginning of system implementation of off-line control by the agricultural machinery developed by Cognitive Pilot company (joint venture of Sberbank and the Cognitive Technologies group).
On terms of agreement, Ekoniva will be engaged in promotion and implementation of the solution Cognitive Agro Pilot, its installation and adjustment and also maintenance and engineering maintenance. Works will be conducted in 35 regions of the Russian Federation, more than in 10 climatic areas.
By the beginning of June, 2020 the Cognitive Pilot company started training of engineers of Ekoniva in installation and adjustment of a system. In the coming months the corresponding training will be provided for all technical specialists of customer service of the company in the territory of Russia, from the Leningrad Region to Novosibirsk which within the three-year contract it is necessary to equip with a system up to 10 thousand combines released by different producers of agricultural machinery. The cost of the transaction does not reveal.
This agreement on implementation and service maintenance of the systems of artificial intelligence for agrofarms is one of the most large-scale in the world — the First Deputy CEO of Ekonivatekhnika-Holding management company Bjørn Drexler comments on the beginning of cooperation with Cognitive Pilot. – Equipment of the equipment of our clients the systems of the autonomous movement will allow to increase efficiency of carrying out harvest works and will reduce cost value of grain for them by 3–5%. |
According to Dreksler, the wide geography of presence and an extensive network of the service centers of the company will allow "Ekonivea" to scale quickly in Russia use of artificial intelligence technologies and will strengthen the leader's position in the field of "smart agriculture.
