RIPAS Automated control system for traffic ASUDD SPEKTR

ASUDD "the RANGE 2.0" represents the software solution which can be used as the hardware-software platform of creation of ITS of Russia.

2020: Integration with Vocord Traffic

On June 9, 2020 the Vokord company, the Russian developer, the producer in the field of intelligent transport systems, announced integration of a control system of traffic of Vocord Traffic into the automated control system for traffic of RIPAS.

In this integration the VOCORD complexes connected to the traffic light controller will consider the number of machines at intersections. At accumulation on any direction or a band of limit number of machines and a tendency to increase in their quantity, complexes will transmit a signal of formation of a jam to ASUDD. As a result the traffic light controller in the automatic mode will increase the employment duration of the resolving signal for the direction where the jam was formed that to unload it.

It is expected that one VOCORD complex will control up to 2 bands in one direction and at least 30 meters in length from the stop line (10-11 cars). Also function of automatic switching of signals of the traffic light for priority journey of special transport on which special tags are set is provided.

Work of the VOCORD complexes is constructed on video analytical algorithms — Dmitry Ivanov, the head of department of design of the company "commented on Vocord. - It allows to use complexes including as the transport detector and does them much functional. At the same time their basic function remains: complexes continue to fix violations of traffic regulations and to transfer evidential base in TsAFAP.

Integration of ASUDD of "RIPAS" with photovideo fixing complexes, according to Fedor Smirnov, the marketing director and to the international development of Vokord company, will allow to cut down expenses on implementation of management systems for traffic. It is especially relevant for Russian regions where the national project" Safe and qualitative highways" is implemented, and federal funds are allocated for implementation of ITS. Management of traffic can be unrolled based on earlier set complexes of photovideo fixing of the VOCORD Traffic system which work in many regions, having saved on purchase and installation of detectors of traffic flow.
