The WSS-Consulting company in 2019 implemented WSS Portal for ABInBev Efes company.

ABInBev Efes is a producer of brewing products in the territory of Russia. The company possesses 11 plants in Russia and 3 plants – in the territory of Ukraine. AB InBev Efes makes more than 75 widely known brands of beer — BUD, Corona Extra, Velkopopovický Kozel, Hoegaarden, "Old Melnik from the Keg", Klin and many others. The company is considered one of leaders of the brewing market.

WSS Portal implementation purposes

One of the main vectors of development of AB InBev Efes company is continuous improvement of all production processes. Therefore the purpose of development of a corporate portal was creation of the uniform platform which will not only integrate all territorial subdivisions in one information field, but also will become the center of identification and implementation of the best ideas for effective work of production.

Before implementation of the portal Sputnik in the company two internal portals - based on Bitrix and based on SharePoint were used. The first – already had some functionality for management of the ideas, however did not meet all requirements of the company in respect of implementation and control of solutions. Process redesign of approval and implementation of the ideas and also development of a user-friendly and modern interface was required.

Solution

For the purpose of ensuring continuity of process and convenience of using of a single system, it was decided to develop the portal on the SharePoint platform. The WSS-Consulting command was faced by a task to analyze all requirements of the customer and to develop the solution which will allow to make process of management of the ideas transparent and simple that, in turn, certainly will accelerate process of continual improvement of production process of the company.

The implemented functions of the portal:

  • Management of proposals of employees on work improvement;
  • The approval/statement of the ideas at the different levels of the company;
  • Tracking of project deadlines;
  • Visualization of the proposed solutions.

Result

The project Sputnik brought the companies not only notable economy of expenses, but also allowed to improve product quality, raised the service layer and optimized business processes due to implementation of the most advanced methods also the practician.
