2019: System implementation of VKS

In 2019 the Medical information and analytical center of Zabaykalsky Krai implemented the project on creation of a system of a video conferencing within the national Health care project. Creation of VKS allowed to provide a high-quality communication when holding planned and emergency meetings between MIAC, the Ministry of Health and hospitals of edge in regular conditions and conditions of a pandemic of a coronavirus. As the partner in project implementation the Softline company which announced the project on June 22, 2020 acted.

Under control of Medical information and analytical center Zabaykalsky Krai for June, 2020 in the VKS system more than 60 hospitals and a number of the adjacent organizations work, many of which are located in remote localities. Until recently the customer used the VIDEOCONFERENCING outdated system which did not meet the current requirements to functionality, number of connections and communication quality. Within the project the MIAC implemented the system of a video conferencing of domestic manufacturer Vinteo which works under the widespread protocol SIP and H.323 and it is integrated with most of others VKS, including solutions of the leading foreign vendors. A system works based on Russian servers Depo, has low cost and does not require purchase of the expensive equipment.

According to the results of test development the customer was satisfied with the solution then 50 connection points were selected, in five of which the communication equipment of the high HD expansion is installed. So far VKS is used for meetings between the management MIAC both regional and federal the Ministries of Health, the management of hospitals, adjacent organizations, and its expansion is planned further for all medical organizations of the region for creation of a full-fledged telemedicine system which considerably will facilitate work of doctors from remote areas.

The lack of a modern system of a video conferencing significantly complicates process of communication between the geographically distributed organizations that is unacceptable for medical institutions, it is very important to them to communicate quickly. The MIAC of Zabaykalsky Krai received the VKS system of the Russian production which meets all requirements imposed to the telemedicine systems on quality, data transfer rate and degree of security of channels. In the period of a pandemic it is especially important as it became one of fixed assets of communication. Offered IT-provider the solution completely coped with a high load.
