2020: ABBYY FlexiCapture implementation

S7 Group, the private airline of Russia, implemented the ABBYY FlexiCapture platform for hands-off processing of accounting documentation. The solution of ABBYY takes data from the paper documents arriving from all representative offices which are in the territory of the Russian Federation and from a number of foreign representations and will allow to cover 10% of paper document flow of S7 Group by the end of 2020. On June 23, 2020 the ABBYY company reported about it. In a project deliverable time for processing of one document in S7 Group was reduced by 2.5 times, and accountant officers timely obtain information for control and expense analysis, payment of accounts and preparation of the management reporting.

Documents acceptance through ABBYY: in scanning, a verifitsirovaniye and further routing – only 22 specialists of the General Service center S7 Consult on platforms of the front office in Moscow, the Moscow region and Novosibirsk are engaged. The digitized documents come on further processing to the accounting which is in S7 Consult in Novosibirsk.

The ABBYY FlexiCapture platform is able to work as with standard accounting documents, such as invoices, UPD, consignment notes and acts, and with the documents specific to the aviation industry that will allow to scale further a system in process of development of the project in S7 Group. These are, for example, acts for the performed works on airport and land service, the directions on acquisition of travel documents, reports of agents and others. A part of documents in the general data stream make forms in foreign languages, such as English, Italian, German, Chinese and French. A system automatically determines document type, will recognize data and sends them to electronic archive and the accounting system. After completion of process the accountant receives the notification, checks data and performs necessary operations in a system. As a result on processing and extraction of data from one accounting document 2.5 times less time, than leaves earlier.

One of important problems which S7 Group solves using intellectual technologies of ABBYY is an increase in speed and amount of the processed information at simultaneous decrease in load of personnel due to automation of their routine work. In further S7 is going to expand systems capabilities and to process industry documents and internal forms. In combination with program robots, these technologies will help the company to carry out automatically reconciliation of data, to fill out reports and to solve other similar problems in read minutes.
