2020: System entry into the market
At the end of June, 2020 the companies Intel also BlackBerry announced release on the market of a joint system which allows to protect commercial PCs from hidden mining. The solution was received by the name BlackBerry Optics and a basis in the form of Intel Threat Detection technology.
Practically without influencing operation of the processor, Intel Threat Detection Technology reveals and neutralizes the hacker attacks at any type of workload of century to the operating system Windows 10.
The BlackBerry company cooperates with Intel long ago in the field of technologies which effectively protect computers from the hidden production from a kriptodzheking. Kriptodzheking name installation of the malware which uses the computing power of someone else's computer for cryptocurrency mining without the knowledge of the user. Because of it large corporations and the companies become the ideal purpose for hackers, it is enough to them to start a virus on several computers to get access to the others. About 10% of the organizations found at themselves the malware for cryptocurrency mining in 2019, said in the joint press release of Intel and BlackBerry.
The BlackBerry Optics system intended for identification of the hidden mining does not allow hackers to receive cryptocurrency at the expense of others.
But as hackers use more and more sophisticated tactics for deception of a normal anti-virus software, it is very important to use the special built-in functions of security, - the vice president of Intel for ADP equipment and the general business platforms manager Stephanie Hallford considers. - The BlackBerry system works at a basis of the built-in Intel vPro platform for business supported by Intel Hardware Shield and uses these advantages to provide the improved protection.[1] |
