Unlike screens based on standard SMD technology, displays with HCOB technology have a special protective coating of polymer synthetic colloid. The surface layer protects the LED panel from ingress of moisture and dust into the structure, and also has antistatic and antioxidant properties to increase the life of LEDs.

On June 25, 2020, it became known that Hikvision introduced interactive displays for video conferencing: models DS-D5A65RB/B, DS-D5A75RB/B, and DS-D5A86RB/B. Each of them combines the functionality of a computer, wireless projector, interactive board, TV, advertising panel.

The end-to-end videoconferencing solution is based on next-generation interactive displays that already feature a built-in 4K USB camera and omnidirectional microphone.
