2020: Implementation of the Neoflex MSA Platform platform
The St. Petersburg bank and Neoflex company, the developer of IT platforms for digital transformation of business, implemented pilot microservices of receiving and processing of client requests from external sources based on the Neoflex MSA Platform platform. The platform will allow bank to create and start quicker products and services in uniform architecture. On July 6, 2020 the Neoflex company reported about it.
Within strategy implementation of digitalization and upgrade of a technology landscape the bank sets the task to provide higher rate of Time-To-Market for the started products. Having analyzed the customer's business challenges, experts of Neoflex together with bank developed target architecture and as the first step unrolled and configured the Neoflex MSA Platform platform. The environment integrating the developers, engineers and specialists who are responsible for operation was as a result created. The platform includes such services as: the automated processes of CI/CD, monitoring, logging also gives to bank an opportunity easily it to scale, in process of transfer of business functionality in it.
During a pilot project in only 3 months was processes of CI/CD are configured, integration of repositories of the source code using the tool Gitlab with task management system of Jira and with a repository of project artifacts of Nexus is performed. It allowed to automate processes of delivery of updates and releases on required environments. For ensuring high availability Prometheus and Grafana monitors were configured. The centralized collecting and the analysis of logs was performed using tools Elasticsearch, Fluentd and Kibana. The configured process of monitoring allowed to organize an end-to-end system of observation of all microservice architecture in general and each microservice separately with the high level of detailing of observed parameters.
During a pilot project experts of Neoflex developed the microservices implementing processing and verifications of the credit requests arriving from the partner websites and digital channels of bank with the subsequent transfer to a CRM system for further processing.
Based on a pilot project it is possible to speak about relevance of microservice approach by application development: costs for the organization of infrastructure, approval of accesses, problem solving of information security, and at last implementation of a target business challenge decrease in proportion to the number of implementable services. The complexity and complexity of technology landscapes and also criticality of speed of start of products forces to move as soon as possible to microservice architecture and systems management by the corresponding tools, – Alexander Rybakov, the vice president, the director of digital department of St. Petersburg Bank noted. |
