Start of modular data center TelecomOutdoorNGm-3D

On December 29, 2020 it became known of that, at the end of October of GreenMDC started the next scalable modular data center TelecomOutdoorNGm-3D for company 3data. World Data Centres expanded network of data centers 3data, functioning in the Moscow region. Given a modular data processing center it is set in the territory of an office and warehouse complex in Sharapovo. It provides preserving of a format of close proximity of computing infrastructure for the organizations working at the southwest of Moscow area.

Company 3data selects cost-efficient solutions for scaling of network of data centers in terms of initial and operating costs. World Data Centres TelecomOutdoorNGm-3D allowed to unroll within 16 weeks computing powers of the company on the platform according to current demands of business of the company. The data center in Sharapovo became the second platform of a ring situated near Moscow of data processing centers 3Data. This DPC is urged to provide with modern services of digital infrastructure southwest areas of the Moscow region. Production sites, warehouse complexes, offices and housing stock will get access to communication services, cloud computing and also a possibility of placement of server and network equipment in data center. World Data Centres in Sharapovo consist of two modules. The turbine hall, the warehouse for ZIP, the platform and the premises for the communication hub in which trunk crosses will be set are provided in them. Withdrawal of heatsurpluses is provided by a system on the basis of semi-industrial columned invertor conditioners. In MTSODE DBU on two inputs is installed. System configuration of uninterrupted power is expected installation of the add-on module which can be put into operation without shutdown of the working equipment. The base also considers a possibility of future scaling using the add-on module of expansion. In addition, World Data Centres are equipped with the systems of gas fire extinguishing, access control and the fire warning. The external design of data center is already traditionally executed according to corporate style of company 3data.

Start in operation of the first stage of DPC of "CA107"

On July 10, 2020 it became known that the governor of the Moscow region visited opening of the production and warehouse Industrial City complex. He estimated engineering infrastructure of a complex which central element was a modular data center developed and made by the St. Petersburg company GreenMDC for the operator of services of DPC 3data.

The production and warehouse Industrial City complex located in the tekhnologistichesky park of the class A+ "Synkovo" in Podolsk represents the universal platform with ready engineering infrastructure. The project is implemented on the basis of the German experience — in a format of an industrial co-working for small and medium business — and meets the European and Russian quality standards. For July, 2020 the park which total area is 57 hectares is filled with the working firms for 75%, and investment projects are already planned for other 25%. Company 3data, network of data centers which selected this object as the first platform situated near Moscow became one of residents of the park. For expansion of geography of presence of DPCs of close proximity 3data brought into operation the first stage of DPC of "CA107" based on scalable model of World Data Centres of modular data centers of GreenMDC, TelecomOutdoorNGm-3D from domestic manufacturer.

Our strategic partnership with 3data began in 2018 when we signed the agreement on an output to the market of service for placement and lease of modular data centers of GreenMDC on specially prepared platforms DC Camping in Moscow. In 2020 we continue joint work as a result of which in 2019 especially for 3data the model of DPC which integrated in itself advantages of our larger solutions was developed, having saved at the same time optimal cost. Implementation of this project is especially important for us as it once again proves that building block solutions of GreenMDC by the technical and economic parameters are suitable not only for corporate clients, but also for operators of commercial DPCs especially as the St. Petersburg data center MIRAN operates ours MTSODY since 2014. And cooperation with company 3data on it does not come to an end: ahead of us waits for production of several more modular data centers for them.

World Data Centres TelecomOutdoorNGm-3D consist of two modules in which three premises compactly were located: the input platform, the storeroom of ZIP and the autohall expected placement of six racks on 2.5 kW. In the future the solution can be increased up to 14 racks without shutdown of the working equipment due to installation of add-on modules of expansion. For withdrawal of heatsurpluses a system on the basis of semi-industrial columned invertor conditioners thanks to which annual average PUE does not exceed 1.6 when loading 30-100% of design capacity is used. In World Data Centres DBU on two inputs is installed. The system of regular power supply is implemented based on the monoblock UPS capable in case of emergency to support work of data center at a full load within five minutes. For receiving and transfer of necessary parameters about a status of the engineering systems of World Data Centres in the solution dispatching system with the graphical interface was installed. Also the module is equipped with the system of gas fire extinguishing, the fire warning and a control system of access.

The external design of data center is executed according to corporate style of the customer thanks to what World Data Centres fitted into the modern platform of technopark. Within opening of a complex the governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov got acquainted also with modular data center, having highly appreciated the importance of DPC for residents of Industrial City.

The complete solution GreenMDC allowed to unroll in only 14 weeks engineering infrastructure for accommodation of clients 3data and to begin implementation of the affiliate program "Data center on a franchize".
