In the middle of July, 2020 the Russian developer of endoprostheses "TREK-E the Composite" signed with the Belebey plant "Avtonormal" (BELZAN) the contract for production of medical fixture and component parts for endoprosthesis replacement and traumatology. It is expected that this project will help to reduce the cost of prosthetics of joints by 20%.
On BELZANA the full stroke of production of component parts for endoprostheses, medical bolts and the tool – from design before finished product output will be implemented. Works on drawing special coverings and sterilization the Composite will undertake "TREK-E".
]At the first stage of the project the Belebey plant will start a full stroke of cold volume stamping of procurements of endoprostheses of a coxofemoral joint, will develop necessary documentation, certifies the production technology of flexible drills. Production of the first batch of procurements is planned for the end of 2020.
In 2021-2022 the plant will begin mastering of component parts of a knee prosthesis, will start production of zirconium pins for prosthetic dentistry, will expand the nomenclature of fixture and tools for transactions from different types of metals. Production volume will be 100 thousand procurements of spherical heads for endoprostheses and 3 million rod products a year.
According to the chief executive of Rostec Oleg Yevtushenko, the project based on BELZAN is designed to improve a situation, the created capacities are enough completely to close requirements of domestic market within five years.
On expert evaluations, more than 200 thousand Russians annually need operations on endoprosthesis replacement. Now practically all volume of necessary parts is supplied from abroad, the high cost of prostheses and fixtures considerably reduces availability of such transactions — he reported.[1] |
