Moscow bought the equipment of patomorfologichesky laboratories for 670 million rubles

On July 14, 2020 it became known that Moscow bought the equipment for patomorfologichesky laboratories for 670 million rubles. About 300 units of the equipment and 20 units of component parts and accessories were in total purchased were purchased within 13 contracts.

As Moscow the Deputy Mayor for Social Development told journalists Anastasia Rakova, new devices for carrying out immunohistochemical and molecular and genetic researches received laboratories of the largest oncological centers.

The equipment is supplied to Botkin hospital, city clinical oncological hospitals No. 1 and No. 62, the Moscow clinical scientific center of A.S. Loginov, hospital of D.D. Pletnev, GKB No. 40 and also to Morozovsky children's hospital.

Laboratories received 11 stations of cutting of histologic material and six modern histologic processors for preparation of the medicines taken at a biopsy for determination high-quality or malignancies.

Among the equipment supplied to organizations in laboratories there are special devices simplifying preparation of the studied medicines, for example, modern microtomes for preparation of cuts, laboratory dosers, stirring devices and others. A part of the purchased equipment is intended for equipment of jobs of staff of laboratories - 78 microscopes, 16 printers for marking of histologic cartridges, 14 devices for packaging of biological samples, seven laboratory refrigerators, four laboratory hoods and another are purchased.

Procurement was conducted by the Moscow Department of Healthcare. As the vice-mayor emphasized, equipment of laboratories of the city oncological centers is one of stages of planned development of oncological network. Re-equipment of morphological and genetic laboratories allows to increase the accuracy of diagnostics and determination of methods of treatment, including medicamentous targetny therapy. Modern devices help specialists to define the nature of a tumor cell and it is correct to pick up treatment which perceives a tumor as a target and strikes it, without affecting the next healthy cells.[1]
