Renault delivered robots to "kovidny" hospital in the Communard. They carry a power supply and linen

In the middle of July, 2020 it became known of deliveries of Renault robots to City clinical hospital No. 40 "Kommunarka". These pilotless vehicles carry linen and a power supply and also help medical personnel to automate other significant and labor-intensive processes.

As the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov reported, the first robot came to medical institution three months ago and successfully proved to be in the test mode, and now — in the middle of July, 2020 — two more devices are directed there.

For use of pilotless devices in hospital necessary infrastructure and the software — own server and a charging station were implemented, the web application was developed for effective management of delivery. These are the automatic managed carts (AGV) of new generation which have a turning gear with rotation by 360 degrees.

Daily pilotless vehicles can carry up to 1000 kg of linen in departments of hospital and also quickly deliver a power supply to the staff of hospital. Depending on a task, one device can pass up to 72 km a day.

The CEO of "Renault Russia" Jan Ptachek reported that UAVs are developed and are made by engineers of the Moscow plant Renault, originally they intended for the automated delivery of component parts and parts from warehouses on the pipeline, but showed the efficiency and in social projects. He emphasized that the company will be glad to take part in similar initiatives and in the future.[1]
