2020: Process automation of warranty service of electric equipment in trains
On July 20, 2020 the Vagonremgroup company reported that it using help desk of the Okdesk system automated processes of warranty service of electric equipment in trains. The solution allows specialists of the enterprise to analyze dynamics of breakdowns on each electric train, to obtain statistical data for effective purchase of component parts on a warehouse and to reduce runtime of works at the expense of the saved-up knowledge base.
According to the company, Vagonremgroup was required to automate processes of warranty service to avoid loss of requests, to increase control on their accomplishment and to systematize statistical data on repair of the equipment in electric trains.
For this purpose the enterprise needed specialized help desk a system with the intuitive interface and a possibility of full-function work of field employees through mobile application. According to the results of consideration of different options the company stopped the choice on the Russian development of Okdesk.
The implemented system allows to automate accounting and service order handling by electric trains and the related standard equipment with the set set of parameters.
