2024: Construction of the second building
The supporting university of the special economic zone "Technopolice Moscow" in September 2024 completed the construction of the second building of the innovation center for the production of chips and electronics. The new building will house modern production and research laboratories, engineering companies, as well as a training center for the electronic industry. Construction of this facility began in 2021.
According to the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, the new building is part of an ambitious project aimed at developing innovative technologies in Moscow. Moscow Government Minister Anatoly Garbuzov noted that the area of the second building is more than 20 thousand square meters. It will operate technology transfer centers, as well as specialized laboratories for students and employees of the reference university "NIU MIET," which contributes to strengthening cooperation between academic and production institutions. This will make it possible to conduct research and put their results into production.
University "The first building of the center was commissioned in March 2023 and is already operational, providing the production of sixth-class precision printed circuit boards - key elements of all electronic devices. The new 11-story building will significantly expand the capabilities of the site: conditions will be created for the practice of at least 300 students annually. This will help solve the personnel deficit in the field of electronics, especially in the context of growing demand for high-tech products.
Technopolice Moscow will also house leading Russian companies and startups in the field of electronics. According to Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ, companies such as the JSC «Proton» plant and enterprises of the Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center will work on the new site.[1]
2022: Completion of the first building
Zelenograd On the site "" in the MIET special economic zone "" Technopolice Moscow construction one of the buildings of the future Innovation Center in the region is completed. electronic engineers Enterprises will be able to produce even more products there, including within the framework. import substitution Technopolice announced this on April 25, 2022, from the words Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the city of Moscow, of the head of the capital, which is part of the Complex of Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.
