2020: Start of the solution for remote monitoring of the state of health

MegaFon started the solution based on the platform of Internet of Things which will allow the public and private medical institutions to offer patients service of condition monitoring of health. It became known on July 23, 2020.

The pandemic gave an impulse to development of digital solutions in medicine: the need for remote consultations grew. MegaFon developed the solution which will allow to control health without visit of clinic and in time to see a doctor in case of deterioration in a status.

The medical devices equipped with SIM cards after carrying out measurements of indicators of health – for example, arterial blood pressure, sugar level in blood – automatically transfer data to the Cloud of Megafon where they are aggregated the Internet of medical things, in anonymous form on the platform. Personal data are seen only by the doctor in the interface of the solution. In the same place target and current indicators of the patient, a surname of other attending physicians are displayed. If necessary here it is possible to write the patient to them on acceptance.

Service of remote monitoring will be popular at patients with chronic diseases, during the post-operational period, at elderly people. The platform of Megafon allows the doctor to have continuous access to the patient's indicators. On the basis of data it is possible to correct quickly medicinal therapy, to reveal possible post-operational complications, having seen a negative trend, to write the person on acceptance, to call to it an ambulance. If the patient forgets to take measurements, service will send him the Sms with a reminder, - the marketing director of corporate business of Megafon Pavel Zakharov says.

The first to the market brings the solution for remote condition monitoring of health of patients with a hypertension. The solution assumes different scenarios – short, calculated on one-three months which allows to appoint and check treatment, to adjust a dosage of medicines, or long-term for those patients who need permanent observation.

Development of digital services of Megafon in health care corresponds to the relevant state agenda of the Digital Economy of Russia project. The platform of Megafon is expected connection of all medical equipment capable to transfer data far off, and can act as the single universal interface for different medical information systems. The solution of Megafon is created turnkey, it includes service of measuring devices.
