2020: Implementation of a system of the automated switching between teleports of Satellite TV

The company "Tekom" announced on July 23, 2020 project completion on upgrade of a management system and monitoring of the equipment of a teleport and satellite signal quality Satellite TV MTS.

The main teleport of Satellite MTS TV company is in Moscow. In October, 2019 the company opened in Kazan the second own ground station of satellite communication for reservation of a signal of satellite television from MTS across all Russia. It allows the operator to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of a telesignal from the ABS-2A satellite to subscribers — irrespective of weather, scheduled maintenance, technical, meteorological and other influencing factors.

Within the second stage of the project for development of the centralized control system and monitoring the reserve Teleport entered perimeter of control of a system and automation of process of switching between the main and reserve teleports is implemented. At the second stage the upgraded management system with function of the automated switching of broadcasting was put into commercial operation.

The reserve teleport can act as the independent station of broadcasting, and at any emergency situation broadcasting can be transferred from Kazan to Moscow and vice versa. This switching between the main and reserve teleports is performed by a control system of equipment TsISUSS "NB XT EM". Automation of process of switching allows to minimize risks of interruption of broadcasting when switching from one ground station to another. At making decision on need of switching, in particular, data of weather stations which were set on the main and reserve teleports within the second stage of the project, and switching control are used, in addition help to perform data of analyzers of quality of satellite broadcasting in key regions.

2019: System implementation of NB XT EM

In the fall of 2019 Tekom together with subsidiary company "Kyyulidzhent.Py" implemented a management system and monitoring of the equipment of the main Teleport of Satellite TV MTS based on software products of an industrial class of own development – the TsISUSS systems NB XT EM and Qligent Vision. Under control of the unrolled centralized system there is an equipment of a teleport and quality control of acceptance of a satellite signal in key regions of broadcasting of the company is exercised.
