2012: Unified Accounting Policy and Accounting Feature Automation Based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV

DLF is an international company with an extensive network of representative offices, including in Russia. To standardize accounting functions and management reporting, a number of corporate requirements have been adopted, according to which various types of financial accounting must be carried out in a single information system.

Special requirements were imposed on the launch of the system in the Russian office and the restoration of accounting, including the transfer of existing data. The best solution was the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system.

One of the key tasks was to maintain accounting in accordance with Russian and IFRS standards. In this case, both methodological support and refinement of Microsoft Dynamics NAV were required. It was necessary to separate the management and financial parts of accounting in order to simplify the perception of financial information and the correct transfer of data to the new system. It was decided to connect professional auditors to the project, who, in parallel with the introduction of the new information system, were engaged in the restoration of accounting.

The automation work package was divided into several stages, during which the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system required to automate the Finance, Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse modules.

The main business processes of DLF Trifolium are automated on the basis of a single and understandable accounting system Microsoft Dynamics NAV, taking into account the corporate requirements of the client, as well as the requirements of Russian and international accounting.

Financial Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, and Warehouse modules have been set up to display and report business results correctly in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
