Services of consulting in bases of reliability and asset management

In July, 2018 the Meynteks company organized the training seminars for leadership team of JSC Oil Company KazMunaiGas and the enterprises within the final stage of the program of transition to the increased between-repairs interval at the oil processing enterprises. The training course included methodological aspects of creation of function of reliability and practical studying of work with the solution GE Meridium APM:

  • Management system for production assets;
  • Bases of planning of a MRO;
  • Bases of management of reliability;
  • Functionality of GE Meridium APM.

"Main advantage of this training is the possibility of combination of a methodological basis with real practice based on the solution APM selected by us, – Vitaly Izak, the head of department of management of reliability and mechanical integrity of the equipment of department of oil processing told, – We initially considered GE Meridium APM as the ready-made solution in the field of management of reliability and mechanical integrity of the equipment at oil refinery/NHZ. We carry out discussions about its unification and creation of the vertically integrated process management of strategy technical service and repair of the equipment, reliability assurance and mechanical integrity on all divisions of the Oil refining block of our national company. The possibility of formation of corporate academy based on two plants is interesting to carrying out annual obucheniye of specialists within capitalization and development of technical literacy of production personnel and also maintenance of high production level and corporate standards".

In plans of JSC Oil Company KazMunaiGas – accumulation of experience of increase in effective management of assets, replication of this experience on all affiliated enterprises of the Oil refining block, increase in social, economic and ecological effect of digital transformation in the field of management of mechanical integrity and ensuring reliability of the equipment.

System implementation of GE Meridium APM

On oil processing assets of JSC KazMunaiGas Oil Company the implementing solution GE Meridium APM which became the next stage of the "Transition to the Increased Between-repairs Interval of Operation using Implementation of the Advanced World Practices and Experience of Management of TORO and Reliability Assurance and Mechanical Integrity" project is complete. The project included increase in efficiency and profitability of production due to increase in a between-repairs interval and reduction of number of unplanned idle times. All actions and projects on increase in a between-repairs interval were organically entered in large-scale reconstruction and upgrade of production capacities.

Within a guidance loop production assets successfully solved a number of tasks:

The whole complex of the actions and subprojects including not only setup and software integration, but also the analysis of the current business management processes of a MRO, their reengineering and also the description of new business processes of reliability assurance and mechanical integrity, their implementation and ensuring survival was during this time executed. So, on the basis of the developed business model implementation and start in commercial operation of the solution GE Meridium APM of version 4 as a part of modules of formation of a corporate risk matrix, management of maintenance strategies, inspections on the basis of risk analysis and the module of integration with a MRO ACS was made. Specialists of Meynteks set up the flexible integration solution with the EAM solution IBM Maximo. Both solutions are synchronized at the level of reference books, documents and processes, and are completely prepared for the integrated functioning.

It should be noted that the KazMunaiGas company completely followed the recommendations of Meynteks and paid special attention to training of employees of all levels of management. In July, 2018 the Meynteks company organized the training seminars on control techniques reliability and mechanical integrity for leadership team of JSC KazMunaiGas Oil Company and the oil processing enterprises within the final stage of the program of transition to the increased between-repairs run. Just before start of the solution 30 end users were trained and trial operation on all modules with their direct participation is carried out. Also during the project future administrators of technical support of the first line were trained. Such approach became guarantee of complete mutual understanding between employees both in vertical direction, and in horizontal direction.
