2020: Plans of equipment installation Profotec on an object of FGC UES

On August 6, 2020 the Department of investment and industrial policy of the city of Moscow reported that the digital equipment of the resident of the SEZ "Technopolice "Moscow" of Profotec company - the switch with the integrated electron-optical transformer - will allow to define the place of damage of transmission lines with the maximum accuracy and to disconnect a system in cases of emergency situations. The first device in the test mode will be installed on an object Federal Grid Company (FGC UES) at the beginning of 2021.

Development considerably will increase reliability of power supply of consumers and will help to prevent serious accidents on networks. The device will allow the domestic energy companies to implement digital solutions on competitive prices of the objects. The Profotec company is a resident of the special economic zone "Technopolice "Moscow" since March, 2018, during this time the enterprise created 55 jobs and invested nearly 200 million rubles of investments in development of production, – the Head of Department of investment and industrial policy Alexander Prokhorov told.

According to the CEO of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ Gennady Dyogtev, products of the company are demanded not only in the domestic market, but also abroad.

The Profotec company actively exports the combined and digital optical potential-current transformers made in the territory of the Technopolice Moscow SEZ. In two years the volume of foreign trade of the enterprise was more than 60 million rubles, the main deliveries are performed to Switzerland, Finland, Canada and the USA. The company is aimed to expand geography of distribution and to deliver products to the countries of Asia and the Middle East, – he specified.

According to the CEO of Profotec company Oleg Rudakov, the electron-optical transformer passed all necessary tests which lasted more than 6 months. So in the course of tests for a resource of mechanical firmness it was executed in volume of 2000 cycles of inclusions and shutdowns. Each 500 cycles were performed additional checks of controlled parameters. Check of a status of the transformer upon completion of tests showed that the device is in a class of accuracy and is ready to further functioning.
