2020: Start of the billing platform
On August 12, 2020 Gazprom announced transition to a new billing system in Russia. Its real-time operation is called feature of the platform thanks to what discrepancy of data in the numerous old systems is excluded. Besides, this system will be integrated with the state information system GIS of housing and public utilities.
Development is implemented by the Gazprom mezhregiongaz holding managing regional gas and power supply companies of PJSC Gazprom. Among clients of holding there are more than 250 thousand legal entities and 30 million natural persons, the CEO Sergey Gustov noted.

As a result of transition of Gazprom mezhregiongaz to the new platform subscribers will be able to trace online in Personal account meter readings of consumption of natural gas, to pay bills, to monitor a payment status and to receive necessary documents. According to in Gazprom mezhregiongaz, the new billing system allowed to increase almost by 10 times the speed of calculations and data processing, and addresses of subscribers are considered in short terms in the mode of "single window" now.
