Softline carried out complex upgrade of a conference room for VNIKTI

2020: Upgrade of a conference room

The Softline company helped Research and design-technology institute of the rolling stock (VNIKTI) to create the hi-tech space for communications intended for holding meetings and other actions. The institute had an opportunity to organize business communication system between project teams and customers, reported on August 17, 2020 in Softline.

VNIKTI needed upgrade of own conference room. The used equipment and room space ceased to meet own requirements and requirements of parent organization of institute – the Russian Railway.

Based on the competition by the winner announced by VNIKTI there was a command of Softline. The company picked up an optimal solution for the task set by the customer. At a stage of protection of the project to the customer it was shown [[visualization data|visualization]] future type of a conference room, including the visible elements of equipment integrated into walls. Representatives of VNIKTI could be convinced in advance that the type and functionality of their premises will correspond completely to technical specifications as regarding compliance of design to requirements corporate a brand beech, and regarding the requirement to multimedia equipment and equipment by specialized furniture.

Directly project implementation took about 3 months. Them – the first 2 months left on development of the detailed project documentation, supply of equipment and construction works, and the remained month – on installation, a commissioning and programming of the supplied equipment.

For increase in useful area of a conference room of the customer it was combined with the adjacent premises that allowed to place up to 50 people at the same time.

The videowall, the duplicating monitors on premises perimeter, a congress system for participants, the system of a video conferencing with several programmable cameras, the acoustic processor and the systems of gain and a sound playback were installed. All listed devices were connected by means of a single system of switching and the integrated management. The interface of this switching system is output including to the mobile tablet.

The basis of specialized furniture was formed by a 8-meter table of the Italian production into which interfaces for switching of audio-and video signals were integrated. Similar interfaces were built in in a mobile tribune. Besides, in a system features for fast recording, record and storage of audiovisual content and meetings were added.

Thanks to the implemented solution the customer has an opportunity to hold meetings of any complexity. The conference room of VNIKTI meets the requirements to presentableness and functionality shown to similar premises, noted in Softline. The set VKS allows institute to present own products with detailed study of all aspects of their application.

Beginning from development of design of the premises and all-construction works before delivery of furniture and programming of a single system of management of a multimedia system. As a result the customer received a uniform point of responsibility in the project, reduction of terms of implementation and the best coordination of the selected solutions having own specifics.
