2020: Implementation of InStock WMS
The InStock Technologies company announced on August 21, 2020 InStock WMS system implementation in a warehouse of Fiks Group LLC company.
The company accepted the solution to automate a warehouse in communication by permanent building of product assortment and growth of a goods turnover of a warehouse. Fiks Group LLC is a distributor of construction fixture on the Russian market and also makes fixture on own Tech-KREP brand.
Tasks for WMS
Automation of a warehouse had to solve problems of optimization of storage and increase the accuracy of accounting of a commodity remaining balance, increase the speed of a tovaroobrabotka, simplify work with sets.
For optimization of storage of InStock WMS analyzes the data entered to the employees at acceptance and creates tasks for placements of products.
As storage is optimized
At placement such parameters as type, pallet dimensions, the article of products, restriction on an expiration date are considered. InStock WMS specifies to the employee in what cell to place goods according to rules, set by a system. For each article the cell is selected. Optimization of storage helps to keep accurate accounting and further to increase the speed of selection of orders.
When the order is created, InStock WMS reserves goods and plans an optimal route for the selector. Also InStock WMS manages replenishments if defines that in a zone of selection there are not enough goods. InStock WMS plans routes for selection, considering restrictions on weight, volume and quantity of lines in one task. In a warehouse there are products with a limited expiration date and, making the route, the InStock WMS system also considers it, performing search of goods in FEFO. InStock WMS directs the employee to the necessary cell and specifies what goods quantity from this cell should be taken.
If during selection a system detects in a cell discrepancy of data in a system with real quantity, articles or other parameters, automatically a system creates a task for inventory.
As products sets are accepted and stored
On a response of the customer, under control of InStock WMS work with slozhnosostavny sets became simpler. From reference books data on structure and quantity of sets come to the WMS system. Sets on standard acceptance are accepted. For the purpose of storage optimization component parts of one set can be on different tovaronositel and take place in different cells of a warehouse. At selection of sets a system defines their stay and taking into account it plans a route.
Result of implementation of InStock WMS
Under control of InStock WMS the speed of all warehouse processes increased. Accuracy of accounting of products increased, merchandising is automated, storage is optimized and warehouse capacity is increased, summed up the results in InStock Technologies.
