2020: Providing "Service 112 of the Republic of Dagestan" with reserve satellite links

The Rtkomm company based on tender and on the basis of the signed contract with GKU RD "Service 112 of the Republic of Dagestan" provided a single system of a call of the emergency operational services of the region with reserve satellite links. On August 24, 2020 reported about it in Rtkomm.

Thanks to it work of operators 112 in Dagestan received additional degree of reliability – in case of failure of wire channels of communication on one or several sections of a system, at any time on them satellite can be involved. In total within the contract 149 access points are connected. All of them are integrated into a single system of acceptance and processing of calls of "Service 112 of the Republic of Dagestan".

One of the most important functions of satellite channels of data transmission – to reserve land communication networks for reliability augmentation of their use. First of all, it concerns those regions where owing to features of climate or a land relief wire trunk and zone communication channels are absent, or are exposed to risk of break. In these conditions especially it is important to insure in addition daily communication activity of operators "Systems 112" on whose interaction speed with the emergency operational services life and health of citizens can depend. Rtkomm readily provided satellite service for the solution of these tasks, – the commercial director Rtkomm Mikhail Mutterperl told.

We selected Rtkomm as service provider of reserve satellite communication for "Service 112 of the Republic of Dagestan" as a result of tender. On the basis of already carried out within the signed contract of works it is possible to state operational and professional activity of the satellite operator providing the round-the-clock service support for our service", – the head of GKU RD "Service 112 of the Republic of Dagestan" Dzhamaluttin Bagov noted.
