"Kvazar" is a high-performance module for cryptoimit information protection of OTN networks. Designed to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of information, protect against the imposition of false information in relation to information transmitted in the OTN network.
2022: Certificate of the FSB of Russia
According to information as of May 2022, the Kvazar cryptographic protection system uses a minimum set of software, which allows you to skip data packets without delay. The equipment, which is part of the cryptographic protection system "Kvazar," has a certificate of conformity of the FSB of Russia. This document confirms that the product meets the requirements for cryptographic protection of confidential information (including personal data) that does not contain information constituting state secrets.
2021: Compatibility with agro-industrial complex InfoDiode
On March 22, 2021, AMT-GROUP, together with Practical Security Systems, announced the completion of testing of the joint use of hardware models (AK InfoDiode rack module) and hardware and software complexes (AIC InfoDiode) InfoDiode with Quasar encryption modules (KVZ). More details here.
2020: Description of the encryption modules "Kvazar"
According to the information for August 2020, the Kvazar encryption modules are connected between the client equipment and the channelization equipment of OTN networks and provide cryptoimit protection functions with a performance of 10 Gbit/s when transmitting information over backbone fiber-optic communication lines.
The SKZI of the Kvazar complex allows you to quickly and safely organize channel protection between geographically spaced data centers, various branches of the organization, provide remote access to the private cloud infrastructure, and the WS for the production of key documents allows the customer to quickly produce sets of key documents for organizing an encrypted communication network.
The complex includes various versions of the CSI, which allow you to flexibly adapt to the requirements of the customer.
Design modifications of the design:
- 1U form factor for standard rack installation
- Blade form factor for installation in a specialized chassis with communication equipment.
There are also various variants that differ in the set of client interfaces:
- transponder: interfaces: 1x10Gbit Ethernet or 1x8Gbit Fibre Channel;
- aggregating transponder (muxponder): interfaces: 8x1Gbit Ethernet or 8xSTM-1 or 8xSTM-4 or 4xSTM-16.
In all versions of CSI, it is possible to connect to the main and standby communication lines with the OTU2e interface, as well as automatic switching between them, in case of signal loss on one of the lines.
