2020: The announcement of a monoblock based on the Baikal-M processor
On August 24, 2020 the Russian the companies "Edelweiss", the developer electronic engineers, and "BaseALT", the developer of family operating systems "Viola", announced release monoblock computer with the touch screen based on domestic processor Baikal-M running Viola OS.
According to the company, computers will be delivered from the preset Viola Workstation OS. It is included in the Unified register of the Russian computer programs and databases and is compatible to a large number of application programs from the register. For example, for ARMv8 platform – CryptoPro CSP, Dr.Web, PostgresPro, DirectumRX. The software list, compatible to the Viola operating systems, constantly grows that gives the chance to apply a monoblock in the organizations relating practically to any field of activity. Distribution kits Viola OS of all architecture are available to acquaintance, and individuals can use them free of charge. They can be set houses, to master, and then to work for them at office.

All circuitry solutions of a monoblock are developed in Russia by engineers of Edelveys company. A system supports to 64 GB of DDR4, expansion slots M.2 M key RAM (PCIe 3.0 x 4) for NVME SSD, PCIe 3.0 x8, 2 SATA 3.0 6 of GB/page. The touch screen with diagonal 23.8 inches, permission of Full HD and a matrix of IPS.
