2020: Inclusion in the Unified register of the Russian radio-electronic products
The Promobit company (TM Bitblaze) announced on August 25, 2020 obtaining the conclusion of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Storage systems of the Bitblaze Sirius 8000 series based on the Russian microprocessor Elbrus are included in the Unified register of the Russian radio-electronic products (No. RE-1775/20, RE-1776/20, RE-1777/20 of 8/24/2020).
During complex examination the company confirmed compliance of storage systems of the Bitblaze Sirius series to 8000 criteria set by the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 17, 2015 No. 719 "About confirmation of production of industrial output in the territory of the Russian Federation". The percent of localization of products was 94.5%.
Engineers of Promobit company execute a full stroke of product development in two centers – Omsk and Moscow. The body, electronic printed circuit boards, motherboards, cable products, the software – all this is developed by specialists of the company and manufactured in Russia. At the company production processes at the partner plants in Omsk, with a scaling option to 5000 units of production a month are acquired.
The line of storage systems which is made by Promobit company corresponds now to conditions of the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 21, 2019 No. 1746 which permits the public and municipal authorities to buy storage systems only of the Russian production within two years. The resolution works already more than half a year, but literally units of the Russian developers still could confirm origin of the products.
Even until emergence of this Resolution we implemented the large project of delivery of storage systems of this series to the Center of information technologies of the Tyumen region for the organization of electronic archive, – Maxim Koposov, the director of Promobit LLC told. – The project is implemented together with NPO Opyt (ELAR Corporation). For August, 2020 the equipment operates normally and proves the viability and an alternative to foreign solutions. |
2016: Development of DWH of Bitblaze Sirius 8000. Description of a system
A series of storage systems of Bitblaze Sirius 8000 was developed by Promobit within the project supported by Minpromtorg based on tender (Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 109 of 2/17/2016) on compensation to the Russian organizations of a part of costs for creation of the scientific and technical backlog which is carried out in 2016. Within the same project own program providing BITBLAZEKFS was developed for systems management of data storage of the class Scale-Out. BITBLAZEKFS software earlier already entered the Unified register of the Russian software.
Bitblaze Sirius 8000 is the horizontally scalable failsafe storage system with file and block access distributed on several nodes based on the domestic processor Elbrus 8C. Distinctive features of a product are usability, reliability, ease of scaling (the volume of storage can be increased up to 104PB that allows to store more than 1 billion files), a possibility of joint work in one cluster of storage of the systems of architecture e2k (Elbrus) and x86 (Intel). The last allows to perform soft junction on the Russian equipment at any stage of lifecycle of information systems.
Adaptive characteristics of the distributed storage are relevant at creation of storage systems of fast-growing unstructured data (Big Data), archived data storages, these medical systems, video surveillance systems and video analytics, media data.
