2020: Start of the center of robotization
The AB InBev Efes brewery with assistance of Accenture started the center of robotization in Russia and Ukraine. Robots will help the company with implementation of routine transactions to release the staff of brewery for the solution of more difficult tasks, reported on August 26, 2020 in Accenture. According to the company, it is one of the few examples when the center of robotization was created for needs of the company from FMCG sphere. Usually such technologies are demanded by banks, insurance companies and the enterprises of retail.
The center of robotization — a part of the comprehensive program on IT transformation of all divisions of AB InBev Efes company. According to the CIO and the organization of business processes of AB Inbev Efes company of Vladimir Demkin, in 6 months of work on the project it was succeeded to automate 15 processes of varying complexity in production, logistic and financial spheres of the company. As a result average time on accomplishment of robotic processes was reduced by 5.5 times.
It was succeeded to optimize such labor-intensive processes as commissioning of fixed assets, input of manual postings for accounting also reconciliation of payments with tax authority.
"For the first month of the project absolutely new command on client side was created. Within the first three months work of the center of robotization was completely organized. Our specialists together with a team of the client used Scrum approaches", - the head of Liquid Studio Accenture in Russia Arseny Kondratyev told. |
According to him, during the work on the project development cycles of robots were synchronized with cycles of other key systems of the client.
"The main call for our internal command was search of processes which can be robotized without significant changes in business processes, and at the same time it was necessary to remove essential loading from employees GSC (general service center). The command not only coped, but also created approach for further search and the analysis of processes, - Vladimir Demkin noted. - We had to not only create the center of robotization, but also an internal team of universal specialists who could be engaged in data analysis and development further". |
Accenture also noted that the project was kept completely far off: the combined teams of Accenture and AB InBev Efes from Moscow, Ulyanovsk, Kharkiv and Tver worked on it.
"In the future we are going to develop the direction of robotization of processes, connecting to it algorithms of image understanding and virtual assistants", - Vladimir Demkin emphasized. |
