2020: Start of the open Twake platform

The company Linagora announced on August 26, 2020 start of Twake service - alternatives Microsoft Teams and Slack, completely developed on open source code. Twake is a collaborative platform which is created for joint work of commands.

Earlier Linagora purchased a startup of Twake (proprietary software), but as a result transformed it to the open source software.

Twake is a platform for joint work of staff of the companies and organizations at office or far off. Twake gives all functions are necessary for fruitful team work. Employees can communicate, exchange fast messages, "sherit" files, create work areas in a cloud, organize video calls, manage projects and jointly edit documents, using the open and independent platform.

Linagora starts the open platform for joint work of the Twake commands

Function of a video conferencing allows users to hold meetings with all command at the same time, and the scheduler of actions in the general calendar of Twake helps to interact with colleagues quickly. It is possible to send invitations from the calendar even to those users who have no akkaunat in Twake, using the e-mail address.

The module of tasks helps to build work productively. Creating cards with tasks, it is possible to define responsible for its accomplishment, to set a deadline and also to add the description of terms of reference. An opportunity to edit documents online and also to save in a cloud and to share them with colleagues or external users simplifies joint work.

Twake differs in a possibility of easy integration of the platform into other solutions thanks to okryty API. It allows to customize a working space and to synchronize different tools.

Besides, the solution can be set to on-premise and to integrate into the existing infrastructure that simplifies deployment of a product. And end-to-end enciphering guarantees safety of data transmission and information. To all other, the Twake platform is already available in the Russian, English, French, German, Spanish and Chinese languages.

For August, 2020 Twake is in process of integration with OpenPaaS, the existing platform of micro services from Linagora.
