Rosatom will unroll the Smart City system in Usolye-Sibirskoye

2020: Plans for deployment of the Smart City system

On August 31, 2020 the ROSATOM State Corporation announced plans for deployment of the Smart City system in Usolye-Sibirskoye of the Irkutsk region. The project will become a part of the comprehensive program of social and economic development during recultivation of the industrial territory of the city as a part of the federal draft "Net Country" of the Ecology national project.

The Smart City system will become the important platform for the organization of permanent dialog between the power, business and inhabitants and also will allow to increase the speed of providing municipal services to the population. The platform will begin to work in the test mode in September, 2020. Further the project will develop due to building of add-on modules taking into account requirements of administrations and requests of residents.

Rosatom starts in implementation in the city a comprehensive plan which includes not only the solution of environmental problems, but also issues of social and economic development, expansion of opportunities for inhabitants and business. Very important at this stage to support permanent open dialog between all parties. Our system, including, will become an online site for such dialog, allowing to gather all who are interested in the future of the city, – the CEO of JSC Rusatom infrastrukturnye resheniya Ksenia Sukhotina noted.

At the request of the President Russia Vladimir Putin the ROSATOM State Corporation implements the comprehensive program on reduction in secure state and to development of the territory Usolye-Sibirskoye of century Irkutsk region. It is necessary to develop a package of measures, providing long-term social and economic development of the city.

As the head of the Irkutsk region Igor Kobzev notes, the complex project on recultivation of the industrial platform of Usolyekhimprom and the nearby territories which underwent pollution will be developed. It not only will allow to liquidate the saved-up environmental damage in Usolye-Sibirskoye, but also will give an incentive to social and economic development of the region. In the city the public reception where anyone will be able to obtain project information is already open.

The uniform contractor by liquidation of the saved-up ecological damage to Usolye-Sibirskoye the order of the Government determines the enterprise of Rosatom – Federal State Unitary Enterprise Federal Ecological Operator.
