From China the container train using digital technologies of Gruzovye perevozki ETP is for the first time sent to Europe

2020: Sending transit container train from China to Europe

The first transit container train which sending was organized using digital technologies of Gruzovye perevozki ETP on September 2, 2020 crossed border of the Russian Federation. Sending was organized by Tsifrovaya logistika LLC together with Reyl Kargo Logistics-Rus LLC and PJSC TransContainer. Tsifrovaya logistika reported about it on September 2, 2020.

In March, 2020 the companies agreed about implementation of the joint project of the transit container service providing gradual integration of the digital technologies for the purpose of simplification of access for clients to services of railway transport and, as a result, increase in its competitiveness.

As a result of close cooperation of the companies sending the container train using GP ETP was performed. The train including 41 forty-foot containers with consumer goods proceeded from Xian on the BILK (BILK) BUDAPEST terminal in the Hungarian republic. The route lies across territories of the People's Republic of China, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and Ukraine. As the customer of transportation in a digital format Reyl Kargo Logistics-Rus LLC acted, the rolling stock was provided to PJSC TransContainer.

Project participants expressed interest in further accumulation of amounts of transportations, diversifications of the directions and readiness for deeper integration of production processes.

Emergence of such digital product on Gruzovye perevozki ETP developed in close cooperation with REYL KARGO LOGISTICS-RUS LLC and PJSC TRANSCONTAINER simplifies access to services of railway transport, increases its potential and competitiveness of an overland railway route, – the CEO of Tsifrovaya logistika LLC Alexander Kochukov noted.

It is important for us that together with partners we implement digital approach to transportation of goods by container trains.
