2020: Creation of the B2B-portal for distributors
On September 2, 2020 the CORUS Consulting company announced completion of development and implementation of the B2B-portal with a personal account in Gazpromneft — Lubricants company within the project on improvement of quality of service in interaction with distributors. The online service for partners of the producer allowed to optimize planning processes and the order of products.
According to the company, products volumes which are implemented "by Gazpromneft – SM", assume work with a large number of data, inclusiveness in sales process of different divisions and a large number of partners. To optimize processes it was decided to develop a single platform which would transfer relationship "Gazpromneft – SM" with distributors to the following level – a personal account of the partner which would simplify communication, would provide tools for interaction and in real time would display the history of relationship and relevant order statuses. CORUS Consulting Group was attracted to creation of the B2B-portal – it should automate process of purchases of lubricants with a binding to production planning.
Within the project the staff of Corus Consulting was required not only to design the tool, but also to integrate it into the existing IT infrastructure "Gazpromneft – SM", to provide data exchange between the different systems. All this in general made the project large-scale and difficult in implementation. The personal account of the distributor for "Gazpromneft – SM" was created based on the platform "1C-Bitrix: Enterprise" and solutions "KORUS B2B-Portal".
The personal account of the partner in the online platform covers all end-to-end sales processes: from requirements planning before final execution of purchases. Acceptance, registration and approval of requests for products happens in the online mode, 24/7 that allows to plan production volumes more precisely.
For simplification of work in service templates of forecast requests for future periods and function of repetition of requests from history are created. Distributors also had an opportunity to monitor the status of accomplishment of requests, tracing information on agreed volumes in real time. Special options allow them to contract independently products and to create the order for delivery. Also it became simpler to control financial performance, to obtain information on each agreement and to submit guaranty letters about payment of products. In a personal account of the distributor the reporting on the plan/fact under the stated, approved, contracted and shipped products is available.
An opportunity to submit the application for requirements planning, to independently create drafts of supplements to agreement and also to make out orders for specific means of transport became functionality of a personal account. Besides, a system allows to reserve an unsold remaining balance – as a result the distributor can issue the request for the remained products at other price.
The Gazpromneft — SM B2B-portal is integrated with a fiscal metering system. For September, 2020 more than 70 distributors and 20 specialists of department of customer service will use the tool.
The updated personal account made relationship with our distributors more transparent and managed. We expect that it will allow to increase efficiency of sales and to lower receivables. Partners of the company already estimated online tools, and we are going to develop further the project – in line automation of a portrait of formation of the distributor, adding of the reporting necessary for the distributor, such as execution of the business plan and also setup of giving and control of obligation fulfillment within guaranty letters.
