1C-Bitrix: Enterprise is the platform for creation of large online projects.

2015: "1C-Bitrix: Enterprise" passed stress testing

On July 8, 2015 the 1C-Bitrix company announced testing of the website, "1C-Bitrix executed on the platform: An enterprise" using four servers and connection of the module "Web cluster".

According to the statement of the company, loading more than 2.4 million unique visitors a day is maintained by the website executed on this technical technology platform. These results are received as a result of the stress testing of the platform held by ITSumma company using Yandex service. Tank and server hardware of Selectel company.

The received loadings are commensurable with daily attendance of the website of the main weather service of Runet – Gismeteo (2.5 million people), and by 2.5 times exceed daily attendance of RBC (930 thousand persons/day), 3.4 times - RIA Novosti (700 thousand persons/day) and by 4 times of Lenta.ru (587 thousand persons/day)^[1].

Results of testing confirmed platform performance measures, stability during the work with heavy loads and scaling options.

Artem Ryabinkov, the head of development of business 1C-Bitrix, noted: "We consider testing of products "1C-Bitrix: Management of the website" and "1C-Bitrix: An enterprise" as a question of providing guarantees to our clients in respect of performance and fault tolerance. Great results of stress testing allow us to declare determination of the projects created based on "1C-Bitrix: Management of the website" and "1C-Bitrix: An enterprise", to scaling under any loadings".

Results of 24-hour testing of a product on the solution Online store with 99280 SKU (commodity units) in the directory and the connected Composite Website technology were:

• 777,991 unique visitors, 14,781,832 viewings pages a day and 29,636 issued orders in online store – for "1C-Bitrix: Management of the website", edition "Business" and 1 servers
• 1,214,858 unique visitors, 28,082,301 viewings pages a day and 46,436 issued orders in online store for "1C-Bitrix: An enterprise" using 2 servers and the module "Web cluster"
• 2,434,534 unique visitors, 46,256,141 viewings pages a day and 93,042 orders issued in online store for "1C-Bitrix: An enterprise" using 4 servers and the module "Web cluster"

Despite a high load, generation rate of pages for "1C-Bitrix:" on 4 servers did not exceed an enterprise 0.6 seconds, and due to use of Composite Website technology more than a half of pages were generated less, than in 0.005 seconds.

Besides, results of testing confirmed that "1C-Bitrix: The enterprise" can significantly process a heavy load on the project, allowing to scale it on required number of servers and to implement a failsafe configuration for 24/7 work.

Scaled technologies in "1C-Bitrix: An enterprise" allow to increase almost linearly the overall performance of the project when adding additional server capacities. Change of the code of online project at the same time is not required. The additional license on "1C-Bitrix: The enterprise" allows to scale beyond all bounds the project in intervals of peak load (holidays, sales, actions) and not to overpay for additional server capacities when they are not required.

It is necessary to predict emergence of bottlenecks in architecture and to plan ways of their elimination before it leads to loss of money and reputation".
