On September 4, 2020 it became known of issue of the first in Russia the credit on the security of intellectual property. Within the transaction of MSP Bank provided 4.29 million rubles under 8.5% per annum to the producer of the Energoelement accumulators on the security of two patents: on the Li-ion battery and the charger to it.
The borrower will spend the received funds for purchase of materials and raw materials for production of industrial traction Li-ion rechargeable batteries for the warehouse equipment.
According to the CEO of Energoelement Alexander Loginov, except patents, they had nothing to offer bank; but the company owns seven patents, specified two of them in the request, and within a month of MSP Bank approved the credit.
The vice chairman of the board of MSP of Bank Roman Kapinos noted that by the beginning of September, 2020 the market ripened for the credits under intellectual property: the legislation changed – support of the enterprises from the IT sphere improved, the tax burden decreased, the number of projects with interesting developments grows.
The chairman of the board of SDM-bank Maxim Solntsev in a conversation with Vedomosti emphasized that to pledges in the form of intellectual property "the mass of nuances is integrated, beginning from providing mechanisms, finishing with claiming mechanisms – on the IC they simply are absent". Therefore, in his opinion, at the moment "practice with non-standard pledges causes rather moderate scepticism".
For example, new perspective niches – crediting of producers of series, developers of mobile games , etc, – Solntsev says. – So far it is quite difficult. But every year the technological products integrated to the IC occupy the increasing share in GDP. |
By the beginning of September, 2020 bank there are several perspective projects on the security of intellectual property, from a biotekh to the technologies increasing efficiency in different types of economy.[1]
