Biography

Lyudmila Nikolaevna Kurovskaya graduated from the Kaliningrad state university majoring in "jurisprudence" in 1978.

In 1978-1989 worked in prosecutor's office of the Kaliningrad region. Since 1989 worked as the prosecutor of Management on supervision of consideration of criminal cases in courts in prosecutor's office of the USSR, the senior prosecutor of legal support division, the head of department of Management of methodical providing, the deputy chief of management of methodical providing the Main Investigation Department in prosecutor's office of RSFSR.

In 2004 defended the master's thesis on the subject "Criminal Problems of Counteraction of Money Laundering". State councilor of justice 3 classes (major general's rank).

Took part in development of the Convention of the UN against transnational organized crime; in development of the criminal code of Russia. Entered into the working groups on project development of federal laws, including, "About counteraction to illegal income".

Honored lawyer of Russia. Honourable prosecutor of Russia. Has a number of scientific publications in the field of criminal law and judicial expert activity.

Lyudmila Kurovskaya is appointed in September, 2020 to a position temporarily by the acting as the CEO of the federal state unitary enterprise Main Radio-frequency Center (Federal State Unitary Enterprise GRTs) – one of structures of Roskomnadzor which is responsible for supervision in the field of use of radio frequencies of civil appointment.

Earlier Lyudmila Kurovskaya held a position of the head of department of metodiko-analytical ensuring supervision of procedural activity of bodies of preliminary inquiry and operational search activity in the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia.
