The system operator of EEC completed creation of the corporate integration transport system

"System Operator of the Unified Energy System" (SO UES) completed an implementation project of the Corporate integration transport system on the basis of the hardware and software system IBM WebSphere DataPower XI50. Also in the project were used the equipment and the systems of Sun and Microsoft companies. Implementation was executed by Croc company.

The project is implemented for the purpose of creation of uniform transport infrastructure for all information systems of the company, formation on its basis of the unified environment of application integration implemented in branches and divisions in recent years and also simplification of interaction of the System operator with subjects of wholesale market of the electric power and power due to use is opened the published methods and interfaces.

The new software package is set in the main dispatching center of the company in Moscow and in all 66 branches.

The project started in 2007 and was implemented in two stages. Within the first stage of works transport infrastructure based on IBM SystemX was unrolled, a system, the guaranteed delivery of messages based on the software package IBM WebSphereMQ, the system of file adapters on all KITS nodes and also monitors, administration and configuring of KITS in branches of System operator integrated and regional dispatching offices is developed and implemented. The solution allows to perform message exchange between applications, using the protocols http, MQ, SMTP. As base for unification of information exchange the XML format is used. The first stage was completed in 2008.

At the second stage which was implemented by April, 2010 the system of the gateways allowing to perform data exchange with subjects of the electrical power industry is implemented. For management of accounts and rights of external users the software package Sun Corporate Directory Server is used. Also at the second stage based on the hardware-software solution IBM DataPower the message handling subsystem intended for complex application integration and management of applied processes is created.
