A101 records project documentation with Vitro-CAD

2020: Implementing Vitro-CAD

On September 10, 2020, Vitro Software announced the introduction of the Vitro-CAD system in A101 Group of Companies.

The main purpose of the implementation was to provide the employees of GC "A101" with convenient tools for managing the approval and issuance of project documentation into the work.

To implement the system, a working group was created from employees of A101 Group of Companies and Vitro Soft specialists who provided technical and consulting support for the project.

Vitro Soft specialists performed a basic set of work to deploy the Vitro-CAD system and support the implementation, conducted training for various groups of A101 Group users and design subcontractors. The following processes were automated during the project:

• approval of design and work documentation, as well as Revit models
• issuance of documents to the works execution
• labeling of the QR code on paper documents

A remark register for collaboration on Revit documents and models has been implemented.

The API is adapted for interaction with other information systems of General Ledger "A101."

As a result of the introduction of Vitro-CAD, the following tasks were solved:

• data Common Data Environment with external participants (engineering subcontractors)
• Automated processes for reconciling Revit documentation and models
• Accounting of project documentation and reporting on:
  • Document Status
  • File versivity
  • Document alignment dynamics and status of comments
